Allkemie is proud to announce it has been named the winner of the Massachusetts Founders Network (MFN) Sustainability Challenge. In recognition of our groundbreaking work in advanced materials, co-founders Erick Ramos Murillo and Ricardo Iván Rodríguez Ramírez were awarded a $35,000 Innovation Grant to accelerate the commercialization of Allkemie’s patented technology.

The MFN Sustainability Challenge, sponsored by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), brought together a cohort of leading climate-tech startups. After months of rigorous preparation and a final pitch session held at the UMass Amherst Mt. Ida Campus, Allkemie’s scalable, ultra-low-cost graphene-based nanomaterials were selected for their potential to transform building blocks across multiple global industries.

This achievement was made possible through the dedicated support of the Massachusetts entrepreneurial ecosystem. We extend our deepest gratitude to Jeffrey Thomas, Natalia Giacomozzi, Avril Levesque, Debra Raisner Thompson, and Kathryn Ellis for their invaluable mentorship and guidance throughout this journey. Bringing deep technology to the marketplace presents unique challenges, and their support has been instrumental in Allkemie’s continued growth.
